BIOGRAPHY

I've been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I became an editorial cartoonist at 15 and a technical illustrator at 17. I studied Fine Arts, worked in art galleries in Los Angeles, painted storefronts on Melrose Avenue, billboards for Tower Records on the Sunset Strip, and did character design and animation for video games.

I graduated in 1988 with a BFA degree in Film/Video from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where I studied in the Experimental Animation/Motion Graphics program under Jules Engel.

Since 1991 I've worked on over 200 episodes of The Simpsons as a character layout artist, storyboard artist, assistant director, and director. I've also worked on Futurama, Beavis and Butt-Head, Sausage Party: Foodtopia, the UK animated series Full English and more.
I've worked at numerous studios such as Klasky-Csupo, Film Roman, Rough Draft, Bento Box, Fox TV Animation and Stellar Creative Lab. I also write and develop my own original content.
